I just saw a guy at the Caltrain station holding a sign that said:
"Family kidnapped by ninjas. Need $$ for karate lessons."
I gave him all the money I had.

So... historically I've harassed my friends over e-mail with various political/hilarious missives. That "push" format unfortunately can't be easily dodged short of setting up inbox filters. So I figure the "pull" format of a blog would perform the same service, and possibly even save a few of my friendships along the way. =P
